This project involved interpreting a piece of writing in a visual (but not representational or illustrative) format. I chose a poem by Brian Doyle that I'd seen in The Sun magazine a few years ago, and had saved because it was particularly meaningful to me. The papers are kitakata and silk tissue, and the patterns and text are hand drawn with pigma micron marker.
