With the assistance of SSAC book arts expert, Rose Harms, I've been exploring some non-stitch binding techniques. Below are my first attempts: A circle accordion-fold book with diagonal pockets (top two images), and a single flag book (the spine is an accordion and the pages are single cards). For both I used white Strathmore drawing paper, on which I created colors and patterns with paste paint. I'll either leave these as practice books to refer to as examples, or figure out some content to complete them. I'm excited to learn some sewn bindings next.
