I found a place to print that is actually not far from my new home on Pittsburgh's North Side. Artists Image Resource (AIR) is an artist-run organization and studio space with a variety of printmaking equipment and capabilities, including a slightly unloved old platen press that I'm hoping to coax back into good printing condition. Below is a photo of their Chandler & Price, which dates from 1907 according to the serial number I found on it. It needs a foot treadle to get it really cranking, and could use some new rollers, but I expect some small-scale jobs are possible. There's only a handful of usable type so it looks like photopolymer will be the only option for the time being...
