New Work

These are preliminary pieces for the series of work that will be in my show at the end of April. All represent explorations of the translucency of overbeaten abaca and flax fiber, which has captivated me for quite some time. I have been working with the book form again, learning how to weld steel armatures, and focusing on the interaction with light. I've included multiple views of a few that are more subtle and hard to capture digitally.
